Kryn A. Miner had a 25 year military career, which included serving in
the 82nd Airborne Division, as a paratrooper, ranger, sniper and the
86th IBCT in Vermont, as a chief warrant officer 2 in an Intel
capacity. Kryn has served several tours in the Gulf War, Iraq and
Kryn's most recent mission was to bring awareness to those suffering
from the invisible wounds of war. He started the Crossfit fundraiser
the Forgotten Fallen and worked with the Lone Survivor Foundation to
raise awareness. Kryn had personally dealt with the effects of
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and a traumatic brain injury
after he was thrown into a wall from a blast in Afghanistan in 2010,
one of 19 blasts in his career.
Kryn Miner lost his own battle with PTSD on April 26th, 2014 at the age of 44.
We will be running this work out in heats starting at 9AM.
